Elvis fans can grab their guitars July 2 and head down to the Ramada Inn, Route 9 and Route 70, Toms River, for a Beach Party and Patriotic Celebration with Elvis from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature entertainment by 10 Elvis tribute artists and Zanzibar Music in addition to Elvis memorabilia vendors and more.
School, community gathering planned (Billings Gazette)
MOCCASIN — An all-Moccasin community and school gathering is planned for Tuesday. Former Moccasin residents, students and friends are welcome to attend the day’s games and activities and the evening barbecue and campfire. The Moccasin church, which was built in one day in 1911 and held services that night, will be open for the display of Moccasin community and school memorabilia. Call Susan

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - A museum of law enforcement memorabilia operated by the Dona Ana County Sheriff s Department has a new home. The Historical Museum of Lawmen, with its array of sheriffs pistols and photo lineups, now has more room in the new Dona Ana County Government Center.
