(AP) - Scripts and other Don Knotts memorabilia have been sent to the actor’s alma mater, West Virginia University. Mementos from Knotts’ most famous role, that of Deputy Barney Fife in “The Andy Griffith Show,” are going to a collector in Mount Airy (North Carolina).
